Musto LPX Salopette sailing trousers offer excellent protection from rain, wind and spray. LPX Salopettes sailing trousers are made of 3-layer Gore-tex fabric coated with polyester. The water column value is +20,000mm, which means that the trousers can withstand even the heaviest rain for a long time. Salopettes trousers differ from traditional offshore trousers most due to the upper part of the trousers. In Salopettes sailing trousers, the straps have been replaced with a vest-like and flexible upper part that shapes to the user, which stays up securely but whose straps cannot be adjusted like in traditional offshore trousers. Shell-style trousers do not have an inner lining, which naturally requires layering, but which also significantly improves the breathability of the jacket and allows the trousers to dry in damp boat conditions even if it rains for several days in a row.
