Replacement cartridge for all life jackets with a buoyancy of 150, 165 and 170 newtons. Baltic is the manufacturer, but this is also suitable for other brands of inflatable life jackets that use a 33 gram CO2 cartridge. For this reason, the package includes three different fastening pins that come off when the vest needs to be inflated. The bottle does not have an expiration date, so it does not need to be replaced every 3 years like the trigger. You can always check the condition of the bottle by unscrewing it from the trigger, checking the gram amount indicated on the side of the bottle, placing the bottle on a digital scale so that the measured weight can be +-2gr from the indicated on the side of the bottle. If the vest is full, the bottle should always be replaced and we recommend always keeping a spare set of bottles and trigger in the boat.
NOTE! The Halkey Roberts pin shown in the picture above is not included in the package.

The buoyancy of a lifejacket is measured in the Newton unit. A lifejacket must have sufficient buoyancy to keep the user's airways above the surface. The vests are divided into different classes depending on the amount of buoyancy, though the actual Newton's number may vary depending on the size of the vest.

OCTOBER SALE!
Thanks to its unique design, the Baltic Legend is one of the most comfortable lifejackets with safety harness on the market for both women and men. Thanks to the unique zipper cut, the vest has an exceptionally large neck opening, which allows you to put on and adjust the vest so that it does not press on the neck at all when in use. The vest is also very comfortable to wear even with a sailing jacket with a massive collar. The Legend lifejacket materials also use a very flexible fabric, which means that it always shapes to the user and the back is padded for comfort. The Legend 165 is equipped with an automatic UML Pro Sensor trigger mechanism that automatically triggers and inflates the vest in 3 seconds when it comes into contact with water (NOT triggered by rainwater). The outer fabric also has an inspection window where you can check the condition of the vest at a glance. This model also has an integrated safety harness with a dyneema-reinforced textile loop for a safety rope. Dyneema reinforced safety harness loops have become more common because they weigh significantly less than traditional metal ones, thus reducing the overall weight of the vest. Baltic inflatable lifejackets are guaranteed for 5 years and each lifejacket is tested individually before leaving the factory. Baltic Inflatable lifejackets have had a gas cartridge holder installed in them since 2013, which ensures that the cylinder does not loosen even if it is exposed to strong vibrations or very large temperature fluctuations.
