PSP Butyl Tape is used when a watertight joint is required between two surfaces. It works on most materials and creates a watertight seal between two surfaces, such as deck fasteners, windows, guardrails, metal, plastic, etc.

Instructions:
Cut to desired length and place tape around the object.
Press lightly into place and remove the protective paper.
Form enough butyl into the top of the thread that it will penetrate and seal the bolt hole.
Tighten the bolts to secure and remove any excess butyl.

The mainsail's maintails should be installed at even intervals along the trailing edge of the sail to ensure accurate trimming of the mainsail when sailing into a headwind or crosswind.
