The Carbo Foil bowsprit profile has a low friction in its double motion grooves, making it easier to raise and lower sails and change them. The composite used in the manufacture is significantly lighter and more impact-resistant than PVC used by other manufacturers, especially in cold weather. The profile is UV-protected and the black color is more visible to the trimmer. The profile is packed on a reel and is easy to install when the mast is up.
