Casco -ryhmän tuotteet

Traditional floor and wall adhesive suitable for installing most plastic carpets in both dry and damp spaces.
WORKING
Absorbent pads
Follow local instructions.
- Apply the required amount of adhesive with a glue spreader – 6108, 6109 or 6121. Do not apply more adhesive than is necessary to achieve good wetting within the given open time.
- Install the carpet as soon as possible; squeeze/press all air out from under the carpet/rug. For best results, use a carpet squeegee/roller. Make sure the weight of the roller is appropriate for the type of carpet.
- Check that the coating is completely soaked in the adhesive.
- Carefully ensure that the carpet is placed correctly and smooth it out afterwards, eliminating air bubbles between the adhesive and the carpet.
Non-absorbent substrates
The best result when gluing to a non-absorbent surface is obtained by leveling the floor with CFE SP-X / SuperPlan or similar to a thickness of 2 - 3 mm. Gluing is then carried out as for absorbent surfaces. Prime/fill the surface for better adhesion and better results. If this is not possible, allow the water to evaporate from the adhesive. When the adhesive surface becomes tacky, the carpet can be attached.
- Use a notched trowel – 6108, 6109 or 6121 – to spread the adhesive sufficiently, depending on the amount required. Install the carpet on the wet adhesive. Then lift the carpet up, make sure it is sufficiently wet and let the adhesive surface dry for about 10 – 20 minutes. Place the carpet back on the adhesive surface. Depending on the conditions, an alternative waiting time is 10 – 20 minutes.

When gluing carpet/carpet with a sanded back, proceed as for wet gluing for best results.
Note! The relative humidity (RH) of the subfloor below must not exceed 85%.
Consumption: 3.5–6 m²/liter, depending on the leveling compound.
Installation time: Wet bonding 0–20 min. Adhesive bonding 20–60 min.
Loadable: 24 h.
Safety data sheet:

Wood glue for gluing wood to other materials indoors and outdoors. One-component glue that hardens under the influence of air humidity and the materials to be joined. Suitable for gluing wood to wood and gluing wood to metal, hard plastic, stone, varnished surfaces and ceramics. The joint is waterproof and colorless. The glue foams, so high pressure is required.
- 1-component adhesive
- Also adheres to other materials
- Waterproof bonding
