Gobius C Basic wireless tank gauge

Gobius C Basic is a smart and wireless plug and play tank gauge that is installed outside the tank without drilling or risk of leakage. The tank does not need to be dismantled, and the measurement is done accurately from the top of the tank.

Suitable for measuring the level of water, fuel, greywater and waste tanks.

Operation and installation

The sensor uses microradar technology to measure through plastic and fiberglass tanks. A separate Gobius C adapter is required for metal tanks.

The measurement is fast and continuous, several times per second. The result is not affected by temperature fluctuations, foam, steam, pressure or movement. The sensor automatically compensates for changes caused by waves.

Installation is done on the outside of the tank. Attachment to plastic and fiberglass tanks is possible with pre-installed 3M tape.

Gobius C NMEA 2000 system that measures tank volume continuously from 0 to 100%, version 3.0. Plug and play installation. No need to dismantle the tank. Measurement is done from the top, and there is never a risk of leaks. Complete system, includes everything; sensor, NMEA 2000 cable, 3M cleaning cloth. Voltage: 12 volts. The sensor is installed in the same easy way as other Gobius meters, but from the top. The maximum tank depth is 2 meters and it connects directly to the NMEA 2000 network. Adapter for Gobius C sensor for metal tanks

Special adapter for mounting the Gobius C sensor in metal tanks. The Gobius C does not measure through metal, so this adapter allows the sensor to be mounted on the tank's existing sensor mount.

Many metal tanks have a standard attachment for an internal level sensor, such as Wema and compatible KUS, VDO and other similar models.

Installation

With the adapter you can utilize the existing tank mounting:

• Remove the original level sensor
• Keep the original tank attachment
• Install the Gobius C sensor directly on site using the adapter

If the attachment has long screws, they should be replaced with shorter ones, as screws that are too long can affect the measurement result.
