This complete kit from Skyllermark includes an isolation relay and installation materials, ensuring that your starter battery always has power. The isolation relay automatically ensures that the starter battery is disconnected when the engine is not running, protecting the battery and ensuring sufficient power to start the engine. Safety on the water is of paramount importance, and having power on board to start the engine is especially important when you are in a natural harbor, for example, where assistance is limited. A traditional starter battery is not designed to be discharged, which can damage the battery. Instead, use other batteries and separate them into two battery banks with this kit.
The set is intended for one starter battery and two consumer batteries.

You will also need cables of the correct length and size, unless they are already on the boat.

• Tinned and double-annealed tubular cable lugs provide the best possible contact for copper cables. Due to their closed structure and when correctly crimped, they protect the copper cable from oxidation and provide a durable connection. Due to the double annealing, the copper is stiffer and holds its shape better after crimping.
