• Very practical rescue ladder for the boat. With the Safe Up rescue ladder, which is attached to the railing, the person being rescued can even grab the ladder's pull cord and drop the ladder for use from the side of the boat. Alternatively, another crew member can drop the ladder to make it easier for the person being rescued to get back to the boat deck. INSPECTION EQUIPMENT

Traditional flares light up for about 30 seconds before going out. Odeo Distress lights up for about 8 hours. Since the lighting is not based on pyrotechnics, Odeo products are completely safe when switched on. MOST TYPICAL USES:
Originally designed for marine use, but suitable for all kinds of outdoor applications due to its small size and light weight. The smaller size makes the ODEO Distress model ideal for mountaineering, skiing, kayaking, exploration, etc. Eliminates the need to carry emergency flares - no risk of fires or forest fires. The small size of the ODEO Distress and its water resistance of IP68 (50 m) make it ideal for diving.

POWER SOURCE
The Odeo Distress operates on 4 x L91 lithium batteries or 4 x alkaline batteries. These batteries have a very long storage life and their capacity and temperature resistance allow for long operating times even in extreme temperatures.

COMPLIANCE AND STANDARDS
Odeo Distress is designed to meet SOLAS requirements, making it a great alternative to traditional flares. The US Coast Guard is currently the leading developer of standards for electronic visual distress signal devices (eVDSD). These devices are used to replace traditional pyrotechnic flares. Odeo Flare™ is equipped with an automatic pre-programmed SOS signal with a flashing sequence (as specified in Annex 4 /COLREGS), so it meets the requirements of international standards.

The ODEO Strobe is designed to mark a location in an emergency or as a warning light.

The orange buoyant smoke is a daylight signal flare that can be used on ships, lifeboats and life rafts.

This smoke signal emits a dense orange smoke visible from boats several kilometers away. It also provides a great visibility for search and rescue helicopters and airplanes.

The case is made of corrosion-resistant steel and carries clear and simple instructions, making the emergency signal very easy to use. To activate it, simply remove the lid, pull the internal loop and throw it into the water. It will immediately emit emergency smoke to attract attention.
