You can see the screen more accurately and clearly even in bright sunlight. It also provides protection from rain, with fewer drops on the screen. In hot and bright conditions, the screen brightness no longer necessarily needs to be set to maximum, which saves power and reduces the device's heating. When used in the dark, it prevents reflections of the device's screen lights, e.g. on the boat's windshield, and improves the driver's forward vision.
The glare shield is easy to install and can be installed with the included instructions without any previous experience. Fits both rack-mounted and flush-mounted devices. Durable, yet very lightweight, CNC machined, fits perfectly to the selected device. Made in Australia.
