Noa Basic NOA Basic is a convenient hybrid cover rack that combines the features of an A-rack and a deck rack. It can be used both on land and directly on the boat deck, making it ideal for adapting to different boat types and protection needs. The model we offer is designed for boats up to 8 meters long, and its length can be easily adjusted by removing the top bar or sawing it to the right length with a hacksaw. You can also extend the rack, as it is fully compatible with all NOA tubes and parts.
Flexible conversion to D-rack You can use the NOA Basic as a deck rack by cutting the 30mm tubes of the A-legs to the desired length with a hacksaw. This allows the rack to be placed directly on the boat deck instead of on the ground, giving maximum flexibility and adaptability.
Easy installation and dismantling
The installation of the NOA Basic protective stand is simple and quick. Start by installing the plastic telescopic locks and then continue by installing the T-joints. Make sure that the small button on the T-joint fits into the hole in the telescopic leg to prevent the joint from slipping out.
If you have trouble removing the top rail, you can use two T-joints to get a better grip. Be especially careful in cold weather conditions, as it can be difficult to get a good grip on the pipe.
Tips for smooth processing
Check that all parts are included in the package. Smaller tubes may be inside larger tubes depending on the model.
Assemble the rack at home and mark the parts with tape or a pen to make installation easier.
Mark the center of the tarp so you know where to place it.
If more than one person is assembling the rack, make sure to have several 8mm Allen keys (Allen key not included).
Accessories for extra stability
The stability and functionality of the NOA Basic protective stand can be improved with several accessories:
Brackets: Purchase NOA brackets and NOA end pieces that can be used to attach the rack legs to the boat's existing railings.
Crossbars: Complete with crossbars and brackets that can be used to improve the stability of the A-legs. Can be installed on Ø30 and Ø35 mm pipes.
Telescopic legs: Additional telescopic legs that can be used to strengthen and stabilize the stand.
Storage Bag: Store the rack and all parts in a handy bag during the summer months when the rack is not being used on the boat.
The NOA Basic protective rack is made in Sweden from high-quality anodized aluminum, which ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The protective rack is designed to provide maximum protection for your boat during the winter season, and is easy to assemble and store for the summer.

- Telescopic legs: 2.3-3 m (4 pcs), 1.5-2 m (2 pcs)

The NOA deck rack is designed for sailboats and motorboats with a length of 7–9.5 meters (22–31 feet). The hull length is 8–10 meters and it is built with telescopic legs that are attached to the bow and stern rails of the boat (pulpits and pushpits). The legs rest on the side of the boat, the cabin roof or the open space, which makes the structure stable and lifts the tarpaulin off the boat, providing good ventilation and protection during winter storage.
The structure is supplied in standard lengths and the brush tubes can be shortened or adjusted if necessary if they extend too far. In addition, the frame can be extended with additional pairs of legs or brush tubes. Thanks to the modular system, the deck press frame can be easily adapted to the shape and needs of your boat.
Tip: Always choose a frame that is slightly longer than your boat. The brush tubes should not extend more than 30 cm over the bow or stern of the boat, otherwise the tarpaulin may be damaged.
Like all NOA products, this deck press frame is made of high-quality anodized aluminum, which makes the structure lightweight, durable and corrosion-resistant. The structure provides reliable protection for your boat during the winter and is easy to assemble, disassemble and store for the summer season.
Easy installation
The assembly begins by placing the rearmost pair of pulpit legs together with one of the brush tubes. The frame is then built forward section by section, placing the legs at even intervals. If any brush tube is too long, it can easily be cut or removed.
Always make sure that all parts are included in the package before installation. Smaller pipes may be tucked inside larger ones to save space. A practical tip is to mark the parts with tape or a marker during the first installation - this will make assembly easier in the future.
Tips for smooth operation
Mark the center of the tarpaulin to make it easier to position. If more than one person is involved in the installation, make sure each person has their own 8 mm Allen key. During disassembly in cold weather, it may be helpful to use two T-joints to give you a better grip on the brush tubes.
