Floatation overalls — warmth and flotation in one outfit

In the Floatation Overalls product group, you will find full-body floatation suits that combine the buoyancy of a life jacket with cold water and weather protection in one outfit: the selection includes the 7OC UV-yellow model in sizes M to XXL and the Baltic AMAROK in black/red in sizes L-XL. Unlike a separate life jacket worn over regular clothing (see our Buoyancy Jackets product group), a floatation overall protects the entire body from cold water and wind while keeping the wearer afloat — this combination is especially valuable during cold water times in spring and autumn, when hypothermia is a greater risk than drowning itself.

Floatation overalls are especially popular among fishermen, open boaters, and working boaters, where the wearer is constantly exposed to splashes, rain, and cold wind on an open deck — the overalls serve as both protective clothing and safety equipment without the need for a separate rain suit and vest on top.

The bright UV yellow color on the 7OC model significantly improves visibility both on the boat deck and in a potential water-fall situation, while the Baltic AMAROK offers a darker, sportier color option for those who value a less conspicuous appearance without compromising on flotation or protection properties.

When choosing a size, it is worth considering that overalls are often worn over your own clothes as a warm layering piece, so a slightly looser size than usual may be more comfortable for longer wear — always try the overalls on with the clothing you will actually wear underneath before making your final size selection.

The maintenance of a flotation suit differs slightly from a regular life jacket, as the float material in the suit is an integral part of the garment itself and does not fill up until it comes into contact with water — still, check the condition of the zippers, seams and float material regularly, as a tear or zipper defect can impair both thermal and buoyancy properties. When used for fishing, it is a good idea to rinse the suit with clean water after use, especially if it has been in contact with water containing fish blood or other organic matter, so that the material does not become unnecessarily stressed over time.
