The Hydra Skypoint 12V 65lb 54” is a GPS bow thruster with sky anchor function that gives you more time to focus on fishing. The easy-to-use and versatile Hydra Skypoint bow thruster allows you to navigate fishing grounds easily, environmentally friendly and almost silently.

Hydra Skypoint electric bow thrusters are equipped with a highly accurate GPS antenna, which ensures precise anchoring and precise route guidance. In addition to the sky anchor function, which is especially popular with casters, the device's versatile GPS functions can be utilized for route guidance and route recording, and can be used, like an autopilot, as an aid for trolling, for example.

The Hydra Skypoint 12V 65lb 54” is a 12 volt electric bow thruster equipped with a highly efficient 65 lb electric motor, a durable 54” composite propeller and a 3-blade propeller. The efficient and high-quality 65lb electric motor produces up to 20% more thrust compared to the most common 12 volt bow thrusters on the market. The 12 volt Hydra Skypoint bow thrusters are suitable for installation on most fishing boats of approximately 5 meters. A guide size range for a suitable boat size for the 12V 65lb 54” Hydra Skypoint bow thruster is approximately 4.0–5.5m in length and with a total weight of less than 700kg. The selection of the optimal size bow thruster is also influenced by the boat’s other characteristics and the operating environment (e.g. large surface area and windy/current conditions).

The Hydra Skypoint electric bow motor is very easy to use with the included wireless remote control. The remote control with a display makes it easy to control the motor and manage functions, even if visibility in the direction of the bow motor is poor. The remote control display allows you to monitor, for example, the current function, boat speed, bow motor battery voltage and the charge level of the remote control batteries. The remote control can also be used to program up to 16 routes (up to 5km) and 16 waypoints to your favorite fishing spots, for example.

The Hydra Skypoint electric bow motor is easy to install, calibrate and start up. The motor can be mounted permanently on the boat or with a separate, optional quick-mount base (aluminum or nylon). Using the quick-mount base, the motor can be easily removed from the boat for storage, for example. The motor is supplied with a fully prepared connection cable with forklift connectors, making it very easy to start up the motor if the boat does not have fixed electrical outlets. A 60A fuse is recommended as an accessory between the cable and the battery.

Hydra Skypoint electric bow thrusters are suitable for use in fresh and salt water. Unlike normal Hydra Skypoint electric bow thrusters, the black “freshwater” versions are also equipped with a zinc anode to prevent corrosion of the motor.
