The M-Protect soft polishing pad is designed for finishing and finishing applications where a high gloss and perfect finish are desired. The black, soft foam structure ensures even distribution of the polish or wax and minimizes the risk of holograms and micro-damage to the gelcoat surface. The sponge works great on both rotary and oscillating polishers and is ideal for boats.

The M-Protect polishing pad is designed for effective polishing, smoothing and finishing of surfaces before final polishing with a softer pad. The yellow foam construction with a medium hardness is ideal for medium polishing, such as fine to medium scratches, swirl marks and general wear marks on gelcoat surfaces. The pad works great on both rotary and oscillating polishers and is ideal for boats.

The M-Protect hard polishing pad is designed to treat rough and deep scratches in paint, gelcoat and other surfaces before polishing with a softer pad. The solid foam structure is used with coarser polishing agents (rubbing) at the initial stage of polishing to prepare the surface and remove deep scratches, oxidation and coarser defects from the gelcoat. The sponge works great on both rotary and oscillating polishing machines and is ideal for boats.

Wool pads are the obvious choice when you need effective polishing, fast material removal and effective oxidation removal. The natural wool surface abrades significantly faster than traditional foam pads, making them ideal for restoring dull, chalky or heavily oxidized gelcoat surfaces, as well as for repairing deeper scratches and larger surface defects.

The dense and airy wool keeps the polish evenly distributed, reduces clogging and provides a better polishing result compared to many synthetic pads. The result is a faster work process, a smoother surface and the perfect base for the following steps with foam or microfiber pads.

NOTE: Avoid high RPMs. Wool generates heat at high speeds, which can cause burn marks on gelcoat and varnish.
Keep the speed under control and let the natural shear force of the wool do the work.

The 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Polishing Pad is a fine-pored and soft pad that allows you to easily remove sanding marks and small imperfections from both original paint surfaces and repainted surfaces.
