The Andersen 12 ST FS is a single-speed, self-standing winch for managing sailboat ropes. The stainless steel construction is durable and well suited to demanding marine conditions.
The vertical grooves on the winch drum help the rope to settle in a controlled manner on the drum and reduce the risk of the rope twisting during tensioning. The self-tailing design keeps the rope in the winch, allowing both hands to be used to operate the winch handle.
The winch is suitable for ropes with a diameter of 8–14 mm.
