This reel holds 40 meters of ø14 rope, which is always ready for use! The reel has a friction brake, the resistance of which can be adjusted to your liking.
When boating, the reel does not unwind by itself, and when you reach shore, the rope is always ready for anchoring or tying to a buoy. The friction brake works so that when the pull starts, the reel rotates, and when the pull ends, the movement stops by itself. The rope always remains on the reel as a tight package.
The rope reel comes with a rope guide ring that always guides the rope in the right direction relative to the attachment without the rope getting tangled or hanging. This gives you many options for installation location. You can mount the reel crosswise on the rear railing and the guide ring a short distance from the reel, either on the railing or on the boat's hull.
When anchoring, it is recommended to use a 3-5 meter long chain to improve the anchor's bite. You can find a handy box in our selection for storing the chain.
Installation
The reel can be mounted with four screws to a 25 mm railing tube, or on a flat surface, such as the side of the sump, in the engine well, or with an optional foot on a rear deck without railings.
The sales package includes:
• Rope reel with mounting brackets
• Guide ring
Rope not included
