The device is packed with sailing features, including B&G’s award-winning SailSteer™, which allows sailors to see all key information at a glance. SailSteer allows sailors to conveniently view crucial information on its own screen or, alternatively, simultaneously with your position on the chart screen.

StructureScan and ForwardScan
You can add a Navicon StructureScan transducer to Vulcan9 to get award-winning side-scan capabilities. The device also supports the new ForwardScan transducers!
The multifunction display combines essential sailing information into one clear and informative combination window. All information is displayed relative to the user’s boat and can be displayed alongside chart, radar and other function pages. The user-configurable SailSteer window includes the following information: heading and COG, current tack, calculated tide, true wind angle indicator, rudder angle indicator and opposite tack tack. Navigation information has also been enhanced to include the active waypoint, Mag/True tack reference and magnetic deviation. SailSteer also includes a compass scale that provides true wind direction, tide information, opposite tack heading and bearing to the waypoint
Vulcan9 also functions as an autopilot control unit. If you wish, you can use the pilot from the plotter or attach your own control unit to the pilot. Vulcan9 has built-in WiFi, which allows you to connect to the GoFree shop using your mobile phone, where you can download maps and software updates. You can also use your tablet or mobile phone as a dual screen for the device and follow the progress of the trip, for example, inside the boat, while the actual device is in the open position for the skipper to use.
The device can be used with your choice of Navionics or C-MAP N+ charts, as well as Insight Genesis. NMEA2000 network Due to the NMEA 2000 connection, a wide range of accessories are available. SonicHub ™ music server, DSC VHF radio and AIS transponder and much more
