KeelShield is a protective strip that can save you from damage and expensive repairs to your boat's keel and bow. You can feel safe when mooring your boat to a dock, beach or natural harbor. KeelShield provides easy-to-install and effective protection for your keel and bow. The strip is made of UV-protected urethane polymer, which is a very durable material. A durable 3M adhesive is pre-attached to the back. The surface to which KeelShield is attached is cleaned, lightly sanded with wet sandpaper and cleaned again. If you want to remove KeelShield, it is enough to heat it with a heat gun - the adhesive will come off and the surface can be polished, leaving no traces of the installation.

KeelShield is not suitable for pontoon boats and should not be used to support the weight of the boat, for example against trailer tracks or trestles.
