Musto Mens BR2 Offshore 2.0 Sailing Jacket, Black

The popular sailing jacket has been renewed! The Musto BR2 2.0 sailing jacket has received an updated membrane, which has doubled the jacket's water column value and improved breathability. The renewed BR2 jacket has a 2-layer waterproof membrane that works excellently, and which extends the life of the jacket, as the membrane does not wear out during use. The jacket has a mesh lining. The BR2 jacket's new water column value is 30,000mm and breathability value is 15,000mm , which allows the jacket to withstand continuous rain for several days and dries quickly even in boat conditions. Breathability is not as good as in the MPX Gore-tex series membrane shell jackets, but the BR2 is an excellent choice for Finnish conditions and the Baltic Sea. A storm flap has been added to the new BR2 jacket in front of the face, which protects the face and nose in bad or cold weather. The jacket also features redesigned reflectors and pocket flaps that don't easily open with a hand movement. Stretch fabric has been added to the upper back area to improve the fabric's elasticity. In addition, the fleece lining in the collar and the hood storage pocket have been redesigned to be thinner and not press on the neck area when packed.

FEATURES:

• High, lined offshore collar. Protects the entire neck area and ears when closed. The collar is slightly lower than on the MPX Offshore jacket.
• Storm flap that folds over the face. Can be attached to the side when not in use.
• Visible UV-yellow hood. The hood can be adjusted to fit you on both sides, both at the neck and on the top of the head, so that it does not fall in front of your eyes. The hood can be folded into a storage pocket in the collar when not needed.
• Double cuffs at the cuffs. The inner rubber cuff and sleeve can be tightened to make them waterproof with Velcro.
• Revised reflectors. Six reflectors and reflective Musto logo on the neck and chest.
• Shaped pocket flaps.
• Eight pockets in total. Two fleece-lined handwarmer pockets on each side at chest height (when sitting), two rain-proof gear pockets on each side, and two more fleece-lined handwarmer pockets on each side behind them. In addition, there is a chest pocket and a separate sunglasses pocket on the inner lining.
• Waist adjustment on the inner lining and hem of the jacket.
• YKK ® two-way heavy-duty zipper. The zipper can be opened from the top or bottom.
• Stretch fabric in the upper back area.
• The sleeves are sewn into the shape for good mobility.
• Hypalon loop at the neck to hang the jacket from.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Machine washable at 40 degrees. Preferably wash separately.
• Only use liquid detergents intended for membrane products or Gore-Tex material.
• Do not use fabric softeners.
• Close all zippers and labels before washing.
