Star brite PTFE canopy impregnation is safe to use on all types of fabric. The top-quality colorless impregnation contains PTEF, which makes the surface waterproof and breathable. Used for boat covers (boat tarpaulin), sails, parasols, clothing, tents (sailcloth, nylon, sunbrella, fabric blends, leather) The impregnation prevents the fabric from rotting, mildewing and makes it waterproof and protects against UV radiation. PTEF provides extreme protection for boats. PTEF is a high-tech polymer that adheres tightly to fiberglass, painted and polished surfaces. It makes the treated surface very durable and provides maximum protection against dirt, oil and other contaminants. The treated area forms a UV and weather-resistant surface that is also resistant to oxidation. PTEF guarantees significantly longer-lasting protection for the surface than other similar polishes or waxes.
Washing and protecting the boat's canopy and fabrics
Boat fabrics are very susceptible to mold due to the constant high humidity. Therefore, the fabrics should be kept clean and saturated as well as possible. Star brite canopy cleaner has been developed to effectively remove grease, fish blood, food spills and other stains, but without damaging the surface. The PTEF polymers in the cleaner adhere to the treated area and prevent dirt from adhering and harmful UV rays. The product is very suitable for small spills as well as larger areas. The use is simple: spray, leave to act and rinse. The product can be used, among others, in boats, cars and motorhomes/caravans. It is well suited for, among others, Sunbrella®, Dacron®, polyester and sail fabrics.
If the canopy has become moldy, it should be treated with Star Brite mold remover before washing. Star Brite mold remover effectively removes black mold spots from both fabrics and hard surfaces.
Can be used on almost all materials, including boats, homes, cottages and caravans. Applications include canopies, life jackets, interiors, tiles, grout, shower cubicles, curtains, rubber mats, awnings, external blinds, vinyl surfaces, etc.
After washing the boat cover thoroughly, the fabric should be impregnated with Star brite cover impregnation to make it water-resistant and dirt-repellent. However, remember to let the cover dry completely before impregnating it. Star brite cover impregnation is safe to use on all types of fabric. The top-quality colorless impregnation agent contains PTEF, which makes the surface waterproof and breathable at the same time. Used for boat covers (boat tarpaulin), sails, parasols, clothing, baby carriages, strollers, tents (sailcloth, nylon, sunbrella, fabric blends, leather). The impregnation prevents the fabric from rotting, mildewing and makes it waterproof and protects against UV radiation.
Instructions
If the surface to be treated is dirty, clean it with Star brite canopy cleaner. The fabric to be treated must be dry before using the impregnation! Wet the entire surface to be treated with the impregnation by spraying or applying with a brush/sponge. Avoid overwetting, dripping or running off onto surfaces that you do not want to be treated. Allow the treated object to dry for at least 6 hours before use. Do not fold the fabric while it is wet, only when it is completely dry. Use only in a well-ventilated area.
