The E40i has a built-in motor and three speeds. This version's body is stainless steel, making it especially durable in a salt environment and giving the winch a more polished look on deck.
E40i runs on Selden's SEL-Bus system and a power supply that converts the boat's 12/24V to the 42V the winch needs (power supply sold separately, item 26655). Combined with Selden's electric furling masts, E40i forms the "Synchronised Main Furling" system for automatic sail furling.
Also requires a control unit (item 26656) to operate. Recommended fuse: 60A/24V or 100A/12V.

The Seldén "Double Fairlead" makes it easy to install the steering line on the gennaker furling system in a way that minimizes friction and facilitates furling. As a gennaker or Code 0 furling system is always used with a spliced, endless steering line, standard blocks cannot be used to guide the line back. The Seldén "Double Fairlead" consists of a composite clamp that is mounted on a 25mm or 30mm manteau post, and a spring-loaded stainless steel bow that is pressed in and twisted to open the clamp.
