Selden E40i Electric Winch, Stainless Steel
- Selden E40i, built-in electric motor
- Stainless steel body
- 3 speeds
- Requires a power supply (26655) and control unit (26656)
Selden's E40 series electric winches are designed for sailboats that want to power-assist the mainsheet or halyard handling without a heavy separate motor unit under deck.
The E40i has a built-in motor and three speeds. This version's body is stainless steel, making it especially durable in a salt environment and giving the winch a more polished look on deck.
E40i runs on Selden's SEL-Bus system and a power supply that converts the boat's 12/24V to the 42V the winch needs (power supply sold separately, item 26655). Combined with Selden's electric furling masts, E40i forms the "Synchronised Main Furling" system for automatic sail furling.
Also requires a control unit (item 26656) to operate. Recommended fuse: 60A/24V or 100A/12V.
