• The Gecko Open Face helmet was originally developed for use by the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution). The Open Face is a lightweight, safe and high-performance helmet that has been specially developed for use in marine conditions. The Gecko Open Face helmet is used worldwide by various authorities and organisations. The helmet meets the requirements of the BSI marine safety helmet EU standard PAS 028:2002.
  
  The helmet has an inflatable inner lining that is inflated and deflated using a blow tube. The helmet is a one size model that fits head sizes of 56-63cm. Various accessories are available for the helmet, such as a universal mount, light mount and GoPro mount.

Gecko balaclava

The hood is made of 165g micro fleece. This material is warm, easy to wash and quick to dry. The hood is available in one size that fits almost everyone. The collar is long enough to protect the neck and nape.

• The Gecko MK11 short visor is compatible with the Gecko MK11 Open Face helmet. Made from Lexan Polycarbonate, the visor meets the highest level of BS4110 (Eye Protection for vehicle users) requirements. The short visor covers half of the face and its excellent optical properties allow for an excellent field of vision and allows use with glasses and sunglasses. The clear visor has 97% UV protection
  
  The visor is attached to the helmet using snap fasteners, which allows the visor to stay firmly on but detach from the helmet as a safety measure if the user goes overboard. The looseness of the visor reduces the chance of neck injury.
