In a NMEA2000 network, there can sometimes be a problem where two devices or cables to be connected have identical connectors. This problem can be easily solved by using an extension connector.The connector is waterproof (IP67) and compatible with NMEA2000 connectors, cables and sensors from all manufacturers.

NMEA 2000® certified termination resistor
NMEA2000 networks require terminating resistors at both ends to terminate or close the NMEA2000 network, and these should be installed on either side of the T-connector. A proper NMEA2000 installation requires one female and one male terminating resistor.
