Antifouling paint thinner specifically for Hempel 1-component paints.
Use only the thinner specified in the product instructions. Otherwise, it may be impossible to achieve a satisfactory finish. Adding thinner can improve the flow of the paint, increase its coverage and enhance its absorption – all of which make working easier. However, if thinner is used in excess of the maximum recommended amount, the effect on the product and the finish may be negative. When paint is thinned, its dry film thickness decreases after the thinners evaporate. Therefore, a second coat of paint may be required to achieve the desired dry film thickness.
Important information: Solvents/thinners from other paints can melt plastics. Make sure that the painting tools and plastic containers you use are resistant to the solvent in question. Do not pour thinners down the drain, but dispose of used thinners according to local waste disposal regulations.

Floetrol is an acrylic solvent that converts water-based paints (including stains) into oil-based paints.
Adding the substance allows for longer drying times and better glide of the paint on the surface to be painted. It also removes brush marks.
- For brush and roller use: add approximately 7-15% per liter of paint
- For spray use: at least 50ml (max 100ml) per liter of paint
