Incredible benefits of DownScan Overlay™ technology:
- Exceptional new technology DownScan Imaging™ on top of the Broadband Sounder™ digital sonar display in a single overlay clearly separates fish from the surroundings.
- You can adjust the transparency and color scheme of the overlay to your taste.
Synchronized TrackBack™ rewind tool
- Rewind events to return to a location you have previously visited. History events are displayed on all screens, such as the chart and sonar screens, simultaneously.
- You can also set a waypoint to a history event that is recorded on all HDS displays on the network.
Realistic underwater image
- Only StructureScan™ uses a separate crystal in the transducer to produce a true underwater image. This way, instead of a manipulated virtual image, DownScan Imaging™ technology provides a real image.
Multi-window display
- The HDS -8 and HDS -10 devices can split the screen into up to four sections, allowing different views, such as StructureScan™ image, sonar image and chart image, to be displayed simultaneously.
Unlimited networking
- You can share your underwater image to up to three HDS displays via an easy-to-connect Ethernet network. Each display on the network can be configured individually.
