- Rescue Sling is a stick-shaped MAN - OVER - BOARD rescue system, which is packed in a compact protective case and provides quick assistance to the person being rescued. The stick is packed inside a soft protective case that is closed with a zipper. There is a puller on the top edge of the case, by pulling which the zipper tears open in a second and the rescue stick is quickly within reach. The case is closed again in the same way as the zipper on inflatable life jackets. The rescue stick is thrown to the person being rescued and with the help of the 38 meter rope attached to it, the person being rescued can be towed and quickly lifted back into the boat. The stick itself has a buoyancy of 100 newtons, so it can float an adult. Meets OSR requirements (The World Sailing Offshore Special Regulations).
