The product has a 3-year replacement interval, and the expiration date is marked on the side of the trigger in the format month/year. The trigger is disposable, so if the vest is triggered, the trigger must always be replaced! That is why we recommend that you always have a spare trigger on your boat. Hermetically packaged, so that moisture does not accumulate in the package before it is opened. We recommend that you keep the spare trigger in the package.
