The Dometic 700SS is a side-mounted single-lever remote control unit that combines gear and throttle with a single lever. This allows for easy and precise control with one hand. The side-mounted design and ergonomic teardrop-shaped lever make it an excellent choice, especially for sailboats.

The mechanical single-lever control is suitable for both outboard motors and inboard motors with hydraulic gear. In twin-engine installations, two separate levers are used, one for each engine, ensuring safe and precise control. The single-lever solution reduces the risk of shifting gears at too high an RPM, thus improving safety.
