Hempel Degreaser 99611 is an excellent degreaser designed to remove surface contaminants such as oil, grease, wax and silicones.
This cleaner is particularly suitable for pre-treating oily wood before topcoating. It is also effective in removing wax layers, molds and residue from polishes used for polishing fiberglass.
Recommended use:
Pre-treatment of oiled wood before topcoating.
Removal of wax layers.
Removal of polish residues from molds and fiberglass polishing.
Cleaning tools after using two-component epoxy products.
Specifications:
Shade number/Shade: Transparent (00000).
VOC content: 28 °C [82.4 °F].
Specific gravity: 0.9 kg/liter [7.1 lbs/US gallon].
Flash point: 681 g/l [5.7 lbs/US gallon].
Instructions:
Surface Preparation:
Use a lint-free cloth, making sure that no impurities remain on the surface.
Do not use on finished paint surfaces, linoleum, plastic, asphalt floors, aluminum or similar.
Product Application:
Ensure adequate ventilation during degreasing.
Dip the cloth into the product and apply with straight strokes.
Then wipe the surface with straight strokes.
Clean an area of ??no more than 1 m² at a time and change the cloth when moving to the next area.
Do not use on finished paint systems.
Storage conditions:
Avoid exposure to air and temperature fluctuations.
Avoid direct sunlight.
Store tightly closed at temperatures between 5°C/41°F and 35°C/95°F.
