Hempel's Gelcoat Cleaning Powder is a powerful cleaning powder designed to remove stubborn dirt, stains and yellowing. Specifically designed for use on gelcoat surfaces. It removes hull discoloration caused by growth in fresh or brackish water and is ideal for cleaning large, dirt-collecting areas such as skid plates.
Recommended use:
Removes yellowish spots, rust stains, exhaust residue, stubborn dirt and soot.
Particularly suitable for large, dirt-collecting areas, such as cleaning anti-slip covers.

Surface Preparation:
Clean the surface with Hempel Pre-Clean.
Diffusion:
Thinner: Fresh water.
Mix the product with fresh water to form a paste.
Apply the paste evenly to the gelcoat surface moistened with fresh water.
Leave on for 10–20 minutes.
Wash with a soft brush while the paste is still damp.
Rinse thoroughly with fresh water before the paste hardens.
Notes:
The product contains acidic components. Avoid contact with stainless steel as it may cause discoloration.
Apply Hempel's Custom Marine Polish for a protective, glossy finish.
You can achieve a high-gloss and durable surface by applying Hempel's Wax or Hempel's Wax TecCel.
Drying and Overpainting:
Store in dry conditions, protected from penetrating moisture.
Storage:
Shelf life: 60 months from date of manufacture in unopened original packaging.
