Hempel Non-Slip Deck Coating is a durable, semi-gloss acrylic topcoat designed to provide a non-slip surface. The paint can be used on all surfaces, both indoors and outdoors, above the waterline. The surface is coated with small granules that make it non-slip. As a quick-drying paint, it is highly resistant to wear and tear and has excellent weather and abrasion resistance.
Recommended use:
On fiberglass, wood and steel surfaces.
For indoor and outdoor use above the waterline.

Surface Preparation:
Remove oil, grease and other contaminants with a suitable detergent.
Diffusion:
Thinner: Hempel Thinner 808.
Application method and tool: Roller, brush or paint pad.
Thinning max. 5% by volume, not relevant.
Film thickness, dry: 50 microns [2.0 mils].
Film thickness, wet: 110 microns [4.3 mils].
Theoretical coverage: 9.2 m²/L [370 sq ft/US gal].
Painting conditions:
Apply only to a dry and clean surface with a temperature at least 3°C ??[5°F] above the dew point, avoiding condensation.
The relative humidity must be below 85% during drying and curing.
Drying and Overpainting:
Touch dry hours: 2 (20°C [68°F]), 4 (10°C [50°F]).
Sanding dry hours: 3.
Overpainting: All masking tape used during paint application must be removed while the coating is still wet.
Notes on overpainting:
If the maximum overcoating time has been exceeded, the surface must be roughened to ensure adhesion.
Storage:
Shelf life: 60 months from date of manufacture in unopened original packaging.
Storage conditions: Store in accordance with local regulations, at a temperature of 5°C [41°F], protected from direct sunlight, rain and snow.
