Icom IC-M510E EVO VHF radio AIS and GPS
The Icom IC-M510E EVO is an advanced fixed VHF radio that combines modern connectivity, high security and an easy-to-use interface. The built-in AIS receiver and GPS make it a powerful central unit for communication and navigation safety on board.
Smart control and connectivity
The radio can be operated wirelessly from a smartphone using the RS M500 app. Up to three smart devices can be connected as a microphone or remote control, and the intercom function allows internal communication between the radio and phone. This is especially useful on larger boats.
AIS and GPS
The integrated AIS receiver shows nearby vessels in real time directly on the color display. You can monitor traffic and make DSC calls directly from the AIS view.
Built-in GPS displays location and time, and an external GPS antenna can be connected for better reception. NMEA 2000 compatibility allows for easy connection to other systems on the boat.
Clear sound and safety
Active noise cancellation reduces background noise by up to 90 percent, improving speech clarity in demanding conditions.
A 25W two-way hailer and foghorn allow communication to the deck, dock or shore when an external speaker is connected.
Display and operation
The wide TFT color display offers a nearly 180-degree viewing angle and excellent readability in all lighting conditions. Night mode makes it easier to use in the dark, and the clear user interface makes navigation quick and easy.
