The RescueME EDF1 is a safe and long-lasting solution for visual emergency signaling. It utilizes advanced LED technology and efficient circuit electronics to ensure consistent, bright light throughout the life of the replaceable battery . The beam covers over 30° of area across a full 360° and offers over six times the visibility of many other electronic emergency flares. In addition, the light is reflected into the entire hemispherical space above the device , improving visibility even from the air .

Unlike disposable pyrotechnic emergency flares, the RescueME EDF1 can be used repeatedly in various modes, including SOS . Its compact size and durable construction make it an excellent addition to a life raft , survival kit or backpack .
