The world's most compact Class I EPIRB with an automatic release housing. The rescueME EPIRB1 Pro combines compact size, durable construction and reliable technology, making it an excellent safety solution for commercial vessels, fishing vessels and recreational boating .
Designed for maximum reliability and ease of use, the device has a 10-year battery life and long operating time after activation, ensuring that emergency services can quickly obtain your location and track it for a sufficient period of time during rescue operations.
The EPIRB1 Pro transmits a distress signal on a 406 MHz satellite frequency , monitored by the international Cospas-Sarsat search and rescue satellite system, ensuring a rapid response anywhere in the world.
In addition, the device includes a 121.5 MHz homing signal , which allows rescue personnel to accurately locate the vessel near the rescue area. A powerful LED strobe facilitates visual detection, especially in the dark.
The EPIRB1 Pro is equipped with a Class I Automatic Release Housing (ARH) . If the vessel sinks and the user is unable to activate the beacon themselves, the hydrostatic release automatically releases the device from the mount. The beacon activates and rises to the surface to transmit a distress signal to the satellite network.
The ARH housing also includes an adapter for retrofitting , allowing the device to be installed in the same mounting holes as many older EPIRB models, such as:
Jotron Tron 60S
If you are looking for an AIS-compatible EPIRB model , also check out the new EPIRB3 model.
