Suzuki DF2.5L Outboard Motor, long stroke

The DF2.5 is the lightest single-cylinder four-stroke outboard engine Suzuki has ever created. Weighing in at just 13.5kg, the performer is the lightest option in its class. It is also the lightest water-cooled engine on the market – making it exceptionally easy to transport.

The DF2.5 is a durable choice for a summer cottage or, for example, as an engine for a dinghy. The four-stroke OHV engine with its 68 cm³ displacement provides plenty of power for small dinghies and inflatable boats.

The powerful yet economical engine features a manual start system with PEI (Pulse Electric Ignition). This means it always starts confidently and effortlessly. Suzuki's tipless electronic ignition ensures precise timing.

Checking the oil level is made easier with a check hole located on the left side of the engine. The throttle and steering have a manual sensitivity control (soft–hard).

The engine can be rotated 360° for easier steering. The gear lever is located on the right side of the engine. The generous carrying handle and small size make it easy to remove and move the engine.

Thanks to the four-position tilt angle adjustment, the DF2.5 can be adapted to almost all boats in this engine class.
