Long-stroke 20hp outboard motor
The DF20A is an all-new model that fills the gap between the DF25 and DF15 engines in Suzuki’s range with an environmentally friendly, fuel-efficient outboard. The DF20A is the world’s first 14.7kW outboard to feature a battery-free fuel injection system. This makes the engine quick and easy to start, and provides clean, fuel-efficient operation. With the latest in the industry design, the new DF20A outboards are the most technically advanced portable outboards on the market. The new DF20A outboards are also the first to be designed to use “Lean Burn” technology – lean-burn technology and fuel injection without a battery.
Suzuki’s Lean Burn management system monitors engine performance and operating conditions to predict fuel needs, allowing the engine to run on a leaner fuel mixture. The system significantly improves fuel economy throughout the engine’s operating range. The system provides boaters with superior fuel economy at all engine speeds.
Easy Start recoil starter
Although fuel injection makes starting easier, the DF20A engine was also designed with a starter that is very light to use and requires less force to pull.
