Tohatsu anode 3B7-60218-1

Genuine Tohatsu protective anode that protects your outboard motor from galvanic corrosion. The anode is made of a base metal that corrodes instead of the engine parts, helping to protect the engine from corrosion caused by water.

It is a good idea to check the condition of protective anodes regularly. As a general rule of thumb, an anode should be replaced when approximately half of its material has corroded.
