As the name suggests, the MultiPlus is a multi-function device that combines an inverter and a charger in one. Its versatile features include a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging, PowerAssist technology, and a variety of system integration features.
MultiPlus prevents overloading of power-limited AC sources such as generators or shore power connections. The battery charging current is reduced if overloading would otherwise result. In addition, the generator or shore power connection input power can be increased if necessary by feeding additional power to the loads from the batteries.
In the event of a power outage or when the shore power connection or generator is disconnected, the inverter inside the Multi automatically switches on and begins supplying power to the connected loads. The switchover occurs so quickly (in less than 20 ms) that computers and other sensitive electronic devices can continue to operate without interruption.
MultiPlus devices can be connected in parallel. You can connect up to 6 MultiPlus devices in parallel to achieve higher output power. Three-phase or split-phase operation is also possible. For more information on the parallel, three-phase and split-phase operation options for different models, please refer to the device data sheets.
Monitor and control your MultiPlus device and system(s) locally via LAN or remotely from anywhere in the world using an internet connection and the free VRM App and VRM Portal website. Monitoring and control can be done via mobile phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer (multiple operating systems supported). There are no restrictions on the management applications, Color Control GX and Venus GX devices are also available. You can set up geofencing for rental vehicles etc.
