The West System 104 Junior pack is a handy size package when you need epoxy for a smaller project. The set contains the same product (105/205) as the larger kits, but in smaller bottles.

105 Resin is the base material of the WEST SYSTEM product family, used as the base for all compounds. 105 Resin is a clear, light brown, easy-flowing epoxy that, when mixed with one of the WEST SYSTEM hardeners, is suitable for wetting wood fibers, fiberglass and various metals. The resin can be cured at a wide range of temperatures, resulting in a strong, solid surface that is very effective in preventing moisture penetration into the wood. WEST SYSTEM Epoxy is an excellent bonding agent that, when modified with WEST SYSTEM fillers, fills cavities and depressions and can be sanded and shaped afterwards. When applied with a roller, the resin forms a thin film that is self-leveling and does not leave bubbles. The epoxy mixture cures to a clear surface. When this epoxy layer is coated with a two-component varnish, a beautiful natural wood finish is created. 105 Resin has a fairly high flash point, making it safer to work with than polyesters. The resin also does not emit any solvent odors or fumes. For each resin container size, there is a corresponding container of hardener and a mini pump. When purchasing resin, hardener and mini pumps, make sure they all have the same letter designating the package size (A, B, C, or E).

Hardener 205 is used in most conditions. The epoxy cures and gains its physical properties quickly. When mixed by weight at a ratio of five parts Resin 105 to one part Hardener 205, the cured resin-hardener mixture provides a durable and solid surface with excellent cohesive properties and excellent moisture resistance. The mixture has excellent bonding and coating properties.
