WEST SYSTEM mini pumps and the correct epoxy mixing ratio

All epoxies are designed to be used with a specific resin to hardener ratio. The correct mixing ratio is crucial to the final strength and durability of the epoxy. Adding hardener will not speed up the curing process, but will reduce the mechanical properties of the cured epoxy.

WEST SYSTEM mini pumps are designed to make it easy to dispense the correct mix ratio and eliminate the risk of measurement errors.

Correct mixing ratio

• Epoxy must always be mixed in the ratio specified by the manufacturer.

• One press of the resin pump is equivalent to one press of the hardener pump

• The mixing ratio is five parts resin and one part hardener by weight.

• Adding too much hardener will reduce the final strength.

Compatibility

• Mini pumps are designed for WEST SYSTEM 105 resin and 205 or 206 hardeners

• The package sizes are marked with the letters A, B, C or E.
