When the water level has dropped, the pump stops. The switch is made using semiconductor technology, so there are no moving parts. The Supersub allows small water level fluctuations without starting, as it has a time delay switch. The Supersub Smart has a very low profile, which makes it suitable for small spaces where other bilge pumps cannot fit.
