The Yamaha impeller 20A / 20B / 25A is a genuine impeller for the outboard's water pump.
The impeller circulates cooling water through the engine. The rubber vanes harden, crack or deform over time, which reduces cooling water flow and can lead to engine overheating. Inspect the impeller at the service interval and replace it when worn or damaged.
