Simrad Continuum steering technology
Every Simrad steering innovation is based on over sixty years of experience in autopilot development. This development continues at Simrad Yachting’s autopilot research center in Norway. The result of this development is, for example, the Continuum algorithm, which is the software that drives Simrad steering technology. Continuum brings years of research and experience on the water to the helm. It is an intelligent pilot you can trust to steer.
Standard power
The NAC-2 autopilot computer is recommended for boats up to 10 meters (35 feet) in length. It has a continuous output of up to 8 amps and a peak output of 16 amps. It also has a switch output. It is suitable for controlling low-current duty pumps such as the Simrad RPU80, mechanical drives such as the Simrad SD10, hydraulic linear duty units such as the HLD350 series, and solenoid valves.
Virtual Rudder Feedback
Simrad Virtual Rudder Feedback technology eliminates the need for a separate rudder feedback sensor on boats equipped with outboard engines (outboard or sterndrive). This reduces the overall cost and simplifies the autopilot system. It is ideal for applications where a rudder feedback sensor cannot be used due to mechanical limitations.
Rudder angle sensors
Rudder angle sensors are mechanically attached to the rudder and continuously report the rudder position to the autopilot computer. This allows the Simrad Continuum steering algorithm to make the best possible steering decisions. These sensors are typically used on sterndrive boats, larger vessels, and in special applications where a virtual rudder angle sensor cannot be used. The NAC-2 supports SimNet or NMEA 2000® connected Simrad RF25 angle sensors and resistive rudder angle sensors.
Easy to install
Plug and play connectors simplify installation and minimize the wiring required for an autopilot system installation. Industry-standard NMEA 2000® connectivity allows easy connection of steering sensors, rudder angle sensors, autopilot control panels and multifunction displays to any location on the boat.

Semiconductor sensor technology
The Precision-9 compass uses an advanced solid-state sensor system based on MEMS technology. This highly accurate system measures motion in nine axes: heading, masthead, trim, roll, pitch, roll, heave, roll, and horizontal displacement. The information from these nine axes is used to calculate the most accurate heading and rate of turn possible, while avoiding the limitations of conventional magnetic gyro compasses and instead providing a heading accurate to ±2 degrees after calibration.
Attaches to almost anything
The easily adjustable mount allows the Precision-9 compass to be mounted on any boat, in almost any location. The compass can also be mounted directly on any flat surface. In addition, the compass is IPX7 waterproof, allowing it to be mounted externally on the mast of steel-hulled boats, avoiding magnetic interference. Installation is also made easier with NMEA 2000® connectivity – a single cable for both power and data.

Laajennettavissa langattomilla luurisarjoilla
Liittämällä järjestelmään lisävarusteena saatavan luurisarjan voit käyttää radiota kaikkialla veneessä. HS40-luurisarja on suunniteltu RS40-radion intuitiiviseksi ja kannettavaksi yhdyslaitteeksi. Kukin luurisarja näyttää radion näytön ja säätimet, joten voit käyttää kaikkia tärkeimpiä toimintoja etäältä. Yhteen tukiasemaan voidaan liittää jopa kaksi langatonta luurisarjaa. RS40 toimii kätevänä sisäpuhelinjärjestelmänä, kun siihen on kytketty useita luurisarjoja.
SVEA-RAHOITUS
Rahoita isommat ostoksesi SVEA-kulutusluotolla.

Halo 20+ Radar
HALO20+ radar's near real-time view and industry-leading 60 rpm rotation speed at short range provide ultimate collision avoidance. VelocityTrack Doppler technology identifies hazards in an instant, and the compact 20-inch dome antenna provides both short and long range coverage of up to 36 nautical miles.
Compact hood for near and far visibility
The HALO20+ radar is the perfect choice for coastal powerboats. It features a compact dome antenna that delivers high-quality radar coverage at short, medium and long ranges. Dual-range mode allows you to monitor two different ranges simultaneously, allowing you to monitor distant weather fronts while keeping an eye on nearby targets. The HALO20+ radar’s pulse compression technology ensures accurate detection in both selected ranges, and beam sharpening technology improves the separation of small and distant targets.
Excellent visibility helps prevent collisions
HALO20+ radar delivers a full 360-degree sweep every second, with an industry-first 60 rpm rotation speed at a maximum range of 1.5 nautical miles. These ultra-fast updates give the radar a near-real-time view at short range, helping to prevent collisions with fast-moving targets.
VelocityTrack Doppler Technology
VelocityTrack technology provides rapid visual feedback of objects approaching or moving away from the boat. Potential hazards are highlighted in color, improving the skipper’s situational awareness and reducing the risk of collision. HALO20+ radar automatically scans all visible objects within range, eliminating the need to manually select them. There is also no limit to the number of objects displayed on the screen.
Always ready
HALO20+ wakes up from a low-power standby mode in an instant, so it’s ready to go when you need it. Even if the HALO20+ is completely powered down, it will power up in seconds, unlike traditional radars that require minutes to power up. HALO20+ excels in both busy waterways and low-visibility conditions, quickly filtering out distractions and providing a clear, real-time view of your surroundings.

Forward-looking transducer
ForwardScan forward sonar gives you a clear view of the bottom ahead of your vessel. Award-winning technology protects your vessel from bottom strikes in shallow, unknown or uncharted waters.
ForwardScan typically provides a forward view of 4-5 times your current depth. So in 3 meters (10 feet) of water, you can see the bottom 12-15 meters (40-50 feet) away. Under ideal conditions, ForwardScan can see even further, up to 8 times your current depth. The 180 kHz ForwardScan transducer is designed to minimize interference from common 200 kHz transducers, allowing it to be used alongside existing depth or echo sounders.
Simple 2D view and map overlays
Get a clear and understandable view of the bottom ahead. Bottom color tracking shows the bottom as solid terrain in a clear side view. For even more detailed information, you can switch the view to show the entire water surface. This allows you to identify potential hazards such as dock bollards.
You can also overlay ForwardScan depth data on the chart, which is perfect for boating: The headline view uses colored segments to represent deep, medium and shallow water ahead. Depths are customizable to suit your boat's draft, and a shallow water alarm ensures you never miss a shallow spot.
Easy to install and maintain
The ForwardScan transducer is compatible with almost any vessel and hull type thanks to its stainless steel, through-hull mount. The mount and included alignment piece can be installed in 29 mm (1.15 in) thick hulls at a 12-degree V-angle or 19 mm (3/4 in) thick hulls at a 20-degree V-angle.
The self-closing valve allows the ForwardScan transducer to be inserted and removed from the sleeve while in the water, making transducer installation and maintenance easy.
