The single rope guide is designed to be mounted on a 25 mm rail and can accommodate a 20 mm furling rope. This rope guide has no moving parts, ensuring a longer service life and low maintenance. The Seldén "Double Fairlead" makes it easy to install the steering line on the gennaker furling system in a way that minimizes friction and facilitates furling. As a gennaker or Code 0 furling system is always used with a spliced, endless steering line, standard blocks cannot be used to guide the line back. The Seldén "Double Fairlead" consists of a composite clamp that is mounted on a 25mm or 30mm manteau post, and a spring-loaded stainless steel bow that is pressed in and twisted to open the clamp.
