Halo 20+ Radar
HALO20+ radar's near real-time view and industry-leading 60 rpm rotation speed at short range provide ultimate collision avoidance. VelocityTrack Doppler technology identifies hazards in an instant, and the compact 20-inch dome antenna provides both short and long range coverage of up to 36 nautical miles.
Compact hood for near and far visibility
The HALO20+ radar is the perfect choice for coastal powerboats. It features a compact dome antenna that delivers high-quality radar coverage at short, medium and long ranges. Dual-range mode allows you to monitor two different ranges simultaneously, allowing you to monitor distant weather fronts while keeping an eye on nearby targets. The HALO20+ radar’s pulse compression technology ensures accurate detection in both selected ranges, and beam sharpening technology improves the separation of small and distant targets.
Excellent visibility helps prevent collisions
HALO20+ radar delivers a full 360-degree sweep every second, with an industry-first 60 rpm rotation speed at a maximum range of 1.5 nautical miles. These ultra-fast updates give the radar a near-real-time view at short range, helping to prevent collisions with fast-moving targets.
VelocityTrack Doppler Technology
VelocityTrack technology provides rapid visual feedback of objects approaching or moving away from the boat. Potential hazards are highlighted in color, improving the skipper’s situational awareness and reducing the risk of collision. HALO20+ radar automatically scans all visible objects within range, eliminating the need to manually select them. There is also no limit to the number of objects displayed on the screen.
Always ready
HALO20+ wakes up from a low-power standby mode in an instant, so it’s ready to go when you need it. Even if the HALO20+ is completely powered down, it will power up in seconds, unlike traditional radars that require minutes to power up. HALO20+ excels in both busy waterways and low-visibility conditions, quickly filtering out distractions and providing a clear, real-time view of your surroundings.
Ease of use
With Harbour, Offshore, Weather and Bird modes, as well as custom modes, HALO20+ radar's advanced signal processing capabilities ensure targets are visible even in challenging conditions.

Simrad Continuum steering technology
Every Simrad steering innovation is based on over sixty years of experience in autopilot development. This development continues at Simrad Yachting’s autopilot research center in Norway. The result of this development is, for example, the Continuum algorithm, which is the software that drives Simrad steering technology. Continuum brings years of research and experience on the water to the helm. It is an intelligent pilot you can trust to steer.Good power
The NAC-3 autopilot computer is recommended for boats over 10 meters (35 feet) in length. It has a continuous output of up to 30 amps and a peak output of 50 amps. It also has a switch output. It is suitable for controlling high-current duty pumps such as the Simrad RPU160 and RPU300, mechanical drives such as the Simrad DD15, hydraulic linear duty units such as the HLD2000 series, and solenoid valves.Virtual Rudder Feedback
Simrad Virtual Rudder Feedback technology eliminates the need for a separate rudder feedback sensor on boats equipped with outboard engines (outboard or sterndrive). This reduces the overall cost and simplifies the autopilot system. It is ideal for applications where a rudder feedback sensor cannot be used due to mechanical limitations.Rudder angle sensors
Rudder angle sensors are mechanically attached to the rudder and continuously report the rudder position to the autopilot computer. This allows the Simrad Continuum steering algorithm to make the best possible steering decisions. These sensors are typically used on sterndrive boats, larger vessels and in special applications where a virtual rudder angle sensor cannot be used. The NAC-3 supports SimNet or NMEA 2000® connected Simrad RF25 angle sensors and rudder angle sensors with variable frequency power, such as the Simrad RF300.Easy to install
Industry-standard NMEA 2000® connectivity and NMEA 0183® input allow for easy connection of steering sensors, rudder angle sensors, autopilot control panels and multifunction displays anywhere on your boat.Precision 9 compass
The Precision-9 compass provides accurate heading and rate of turn information to Simrad autopilot, radar and navigation systems via NMEA 2000® connectivity. Internal solid-state sensors continuously measure motion and heading in nine axes. This allows the Precision-9 to provide roll, pitch and roll information to a compatible device. The easily adjustable mount and single-cable connection make installation simple on any boat, including mast mounting on suitable steel-hulled boats.Main features
- Heading, rate of turn (ROT), roll, pitch and roll displacement via NMEA 2000® network
- Accurate and reliable semiconductor sensor technology
- Steering direction accuracy ±2° after calibration
- Easily adjustable bracket can be mounted on bulkhead or mast
- IPX7 waterproof for external mast mounting on steel-hulled vessels
- Easy installation – single NMEA 2000® connection
- One compact sensor measures steering direction, yaw rate, roll, pitch and yaw, and horizontal displacement
- Reliable solid-state sensor technology – no moving parts
- Easy and affordable installation
- Suitable for most hull types, including mast mounting on steel-hulled vessels
NMEA 2000® – heading and rate of turn information
The Simrad Precision-9 compass uses a NMEA 2000® network to provide heading, rate of turn (ROT), roll, pitch and roll, and horizontal displacement to connected devices including autopilots, radar, sonar, multifunction displays, and other navigation systems.Semiconductor sensor technology
The Precision-9 compass uses an advanced solid-state sensor system based on MEMS technology. This highly accurate system measures motion in nine axes: heading, masthead, trim, roll, pitch, roll, heave, roll, and horizontal displacement. The information from these nine axes is used to calculate the most accurate heading and rate of turn possible, while avoiding the limitations of conventional magnetic gyro compasses and instead providing a heading accurate to ±2 degrees after calibration.Attaches to almost anything
The easily adjustable mount allows the Precision-9 compass to be mounted on any boat, in almost any location. The compass can also be mounted directly on any flat surface. In addition, the compass is IPX7 waterproof, allowing it to be mounted externally on the mast of steel-hulled boats, avoiding magnetic interference. Installation is also made easier with NMEA 2000® connectivity – a single cable for both power and data.- Includes rudder angle sensor

The latest generation fully integrated Class B AIS transponder. AIS is an essential navigation aid in today's busy shipping lanes and congested ports. Compact and lightweight, fully waterproof. Low power consumption and multiple connection ports. The NAIS-500 is compatible with all Navico Group (Simrad, Lowrance and B&G) AIS-enabled multifunction displays, as well as all other brands of AIS-enabled devices with NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183 or USB (computer) connectivity.
See ships moving around you
Helps you see and be seen at sea, a great help in today's congested ports and shipping lanes. AIS centrally monitors all vessels in sight and helps reduce the risk of collision by exchanging safety information between vessels.
As well as a variety of information about ships moving around
The NAIS-500 utilizes an advanced automatic digital time division transmission method, which enables the device to transmit and receive static information such as MMSI (Maritime Mobile Service Identifier), vessel name, call sign and vessel type. It can also transmit and receive dynamic information such as position, course and distance. The data is exchanged between vessels or between vessels and shore stations. When connected to a compatible chartplotter, the device displays the position and movements of all vessels within range and transmitting AIS data.
Versatile connections
The NAIS-500 is a Class-B AIS system that offers multiple connectivity options (NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, USB and NMEA 0183 multiplexing). In addition to the versatile connectivity options, the NSPL-500 antenna splitter is available, which, when combined with the NAIS-500, allows the use of just one VHF antenna for VHF, AIS and FM radio receivers. This solution reduces the number of antennas and thus installation problems, as well as saving money.
