Garmin GMI 20 Marine Instrument

The large, bright 4-inch color display clearly displays depth, speed, wind and over 100 other parameters. The numbers are extra large, making them easy to read from a distance, and the 170-degree viewing angle ensures good visibility.

The glass-edge treated lens prevents fogging and increases contrast. The high-contrast color scheme improves readability in daylight. For improved nighttime reading, you can choose between red/black, green/black or a traditional color scheme for nighttime reading, along with a dimmer control. The displays can be set to auto-scroll, which means pages will automatically rotate without you having to do anything. This is especially useful for sailors, as it allows the device to be mounted in a variety of locations on the boat. Standard profiles can be customized for powerboats, sailboats, fishing, engine/fuel profiles, and a variety of other user-specific profiles. Power is supplied via the NMEA 2000® network.

In addition, the GMI 20 features a special race clock that can count down and up, and has a built-in buzzer. Two optional protective covers for the front are included in the package, so you can adapt the GMI 20 to the new GPSMAP® 500/700 series, the GPSMAP 8000 series of glass helms, or older Garmin chart plotters.
