Upgrade your sailboat's electronics with the GNX Wireless Sail Pack 43, which includes everything you need and a 43mm transducer for measuring depth, temperature and water speed.
Includes Garmin GNX™ Wind and GNX 20 marine instruments and gWind™ Wireless 2 wind sensor , GDT 43 and GST 43 transducer, 43 mm accessories and adapters for NMEA 2000® networking
GNX Wind provides wind data that you can use to make decisions with confidence. The GNX Wind features a highly visible, adhesive-backlit, black-and-white LCD display with customizable backlight colors. It also displays two data fields and a digital wind rose simultaneously over a NMEA 2000 network, including true and apparent wind data, autopilot and boat speed. Low power consumption (350 mW during the day without backlight and 400 mW at night with medium backlight) makes it ideal for sailboats. Customizable user settings let you customize the display layout to your liking. Display configurations include over 15 key boating parameters related to wind, speed and navigation. GNX Wind wirelessly connects to the gWind Wireless 2 wind sensor and quatix® 3 GPS marine smartwatch using ANT® technology and streams wind data directly to your wrist.
The easy-to-install gWind 2 wireless wind sensor eliminates the need for cables to be installed on the mast (up to 15 m). Accurate wind signals are transmitted via ANT wireless connection directly to the GNX Wind device or compatible Garmin GPSMAP® chartplotter. The wind sensor features the renowned Nexus dual-fin technology and a three-blade propeller for accurate wind speed and angle measurements, even in light winds.
The easy-to-read GNX 20 display, featuring black digits on a white or colored background, clearly displays water depth, boat speed, water temperature and over 50 other boating parameters via NMEA 2000. Customizable user settings let you choose from 5 display options to best suit your sailing or powerboating profile: single, dual or triple function mode, plus gauge and graph mode for wind, depth and speed. You can also customize the pages to display the boating information that matters most to you. The adhesive-bonded display and anti-glare lens ensure excellent readability 24/7, and the high-contrast digits can be set to a height of up to 36 mm. The device draws only 25 mA / 350 mW during the day when it does not require a backlight, and only 400 mW at night when using a medium backlight.
If you already have 43mm thru-hull transducers, there is no need to drill new holes. The kit includes 43mm thru-hull transducers that can be retrofitted to boats that already have Nexus TH43 transducers. The GST 43 transducer measures speed and temperature, and the GDT 43 measures depth. Each transducer comes with an adapter that allows data to be shared over a NMEA 2000 network to a compatible Garmin chartplotter or instrument display.
