The Garmin GST 43 is a through-beam transducer that measures boat speed over water and water temperature. The transducer has a speed range of 0.2–30 knots and a stated speed measurement accuracy of ±1%.

The included GST 10 adapter allows the sensor to be connected to the boat's NMEA 2000 network. Speed ??and temperature data can then be displayed on a compatible Garmin chartplotter or instrument display.
