Reactor 40 is easy to install with a variety of mounting options, requiring minimal time and effort.

You can control your autopilot from anywhere on your boat with Garmin wireless remote control capabilities. Compatible Garmin devices, such as the Reactor autopilot remote or select quatix® smartwatches, give you full control of your autopilot (requires compatible Garmin chartplotter or GHC 50 autopilot display).

Shadow Drive™ technology gives you even more freedom when steering your boat. This system automatically disengages the autopilot when you turn the steering wheel, giving you maximum control.

Garmin's GHC 50 package also includes a full-featured touchscreen autopilot display for the helm. The Reactor 40 autopilot and GHC 50 allow you to share data and settings with other Garmin MFDs.

Whether you're powerboating or sailing, the Reactor 40 system has everything you need. Pair it with a compatible Garmin chartplotter for features like course hold, gradual turns, fixed wind angle, and gybe/tackle (requires separate wind sensor). You can also benefit from route tracking and Auto Guidance+ for smoother sailing.

You can choose between wired or wireless control to control the autopilot. Customize your navigation experience to suit your needs and preferences.
