FrontVü helps you avoid snags by showing the front of your boat in real time on your chartplotter. It also includes LiveVü forward sonar, which lets you see fish and targets below and in front of your boat up to 30 meters (100 feet).
Panoptix FrontVü sonar shows the bottom up to 90 meters (300 feet) away (8 to 10 times the depth of the water) and provides near-instantaneous feedback so you can react quickly. Navigate unfamiliar waters with confidence, with Panoptix FrontVü’s narrow-beam, forward-facing transducer (20 degrees) that lets you focus on tracking the bottom in front of your boat without worrying about objects to the sides. It also features an AHRS sensor that stabilizes the sonar image so you can see the bottom clearly, even in rough seas. Plus, all of your FrontVü sonar data can be easily shared with other chartplotters on the Garmin Marine Network.
The Panoptix PS51-TH features a standard 2" (50.88 mm) stainless steel grommet mount. It displays depth and temperature data and is compatible with all Garmin chartplotters that support Panoptix.
With LiveVü forward sonar, your boat can be moving or stationary. You can see underwater action in real time, regardless of the direction of your outboard. You can see your lure sinking, plus see its depth and movement as you reel it in. You can see its movement relative to underwater structure. You can see fish swimming and reacting to the bait. If a fish attacks, you can see and feel it. When a fish grabs your lure, you can see its struggle on the screen in real time. With Panoptix LiveVü forward-facing sonar, you can see everything up to 30 meters (100 feet). All other sonar data is history.
¹FrontVü sonar performance decreases as speed increases above 8 knots.
